The FIELDTRIPS are designed to help participants gain new skills, increase visual awareness and new insight into the beauty of OUTDOOR PHOTOGRAPHY. YOU LEARN PHOTOGRAPHY BY DOING...AND THESE TRIPS ARE DESIGNED TO GET YOU ACQUAINTED WITH YOUR CAMERA BY SHOOTING NON-PEOPLE SCENES. |
Fee for the workshop/fieldtrip is $100.00...you furnish your own food, lodging and transportation (we carpool). Limit of 12 people each session. One Day Cotton Shoot, September 15, Sat. Meet at Shoney's, eat breakfast together and shoot cotton gins, cotton and barns and scenes we run across in the Mississippi Delta of Arkansas. Fee is $50. VISA/MASTERCARD/DISCOVER accepted. Because of the number of people sight seeing the beautiful autumn colors of Northwest Arkansas in October, you will need to get a motel reservation. If you decide to be a participant I will send you an updated information letter. I won't waste your time showing slides...we'll go shooting all day. I always shoot on these trips so I can enjoy the scenes and add them to my collection! |
Photographer BARNEY SELLERS noted for his colorful Ozark and Southern Rural Scenes, is a native of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, and a Journalism School graduate of Arkansas State University. He retired October 1988 after 36 years as a staff photographer, all street time, for THE COMMERCIAL APPEAL, Memphis, and moved to Batesville, Arkansas, where he still stays active adding to his collection of rural scenes that he calls, BARNEY'S BARNS...and RURAL SCENES.
